Centre Henry Slade maintains his bond with all partner Manu Tuilagi can shoot England.

«We were in camps together for a few years but not actually regularly — that he was constantly athletic when I was hurt or I was fit and he had been injured.
«But we’ve always got on. I went to Dubai after the Six Nations — that I was out there with Jack Nowell and Ellis Genge, so we have a couple of days with him and Manu was out there along with his wife and kid.
«I feel like I get on really well with himand that bond off the pitch does play a major part on it.
«It can take time learning how to play with one another, but he and I have been able to pick this up pretty fast.
«Manu’s in very good shape. He has through the entire of the pre-season, that has been great, although a real grind although tough.
«He looks like he is hungry to perform well. I am eager to see what he does.»
