The company said:Hawk-Eye apologises to both Spurs and Watford fans due to the confusion caused.
We are working with the Professional Game Match Officials Board [the body responsible for skilled match officials at England] and also the Premier League to comprehend the root cause of this issue and suggest a series of measures to ensure it will not occur again.
